Arrive at Kigali International Airport
Warm Rwandan smiles are your first welcome to this gorgeous country rich with cultural history, lush landscapes, and looming volcanos. The extremely clean and friendly city has a burgeoning art scene, shops and restaurants.
DAY 02-05 ……………………………….
Akagera National Park
Private Transfer to Akagera National park, home to Africa’s largest protected wetlands, woodlands, savannah and over a dozen sparkling lakes. This undiscovered gem is home to the Big Five, and means safari without the crowds. Rwanda is characterized by its biodiversity, and highland jungles, but Akagera’s largely open expanse is perfect for game viewing. At the end of your long adventurous days on safari relax in your lux eco lodge with evening bonfires and magnificent views.

Volcanoes National Park
Private Transfer to Volcanoes National Park, home of the mountain gorilla. The volcanic range of Rwanda, Uganda and the Dominic Republic of the Congo is home to these endangered, majestic creatures, and this is a unique opportunity to see them in their natural habitat – a true bucket list experience. Guided by expert trackers up bamboo covered hillsides, small groups get up close and personal with these gentle giants. The treks’ duration varies from a couple of hours to a full day, depending on the gorilla groups, location and the fitness level of the group.

Transfer back to Kigali
Travel back to Kigali, and make time for a visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum before you begin your journey home.
